According to the notification, it is mandatory to have a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum of 38 years on 1 October 2022

Vacancy position

A total of 50 posts have been earmarked for Junior Clerk Training and Lower Division Assistant Training. In which there will be 12 candidates from scheduled tribes of Odisha. There will be 7 candidates from SC. There will be 24 candidates from backward catagory and unreserved category candidates. 1 post has been scheduled for physically disabled persons and 1 post for EX servicemen

Salary/pay scale

During the training period, students will receive a salary of 13500 rupees per month. And after becoming regular, the salary will be received between 26400 and 83600 rupees

During the training period, Junior Clerk Trainee and Lower Division Trainee will also receive a medical allowance of ₹200, plus an additional salary of ₹500 if higher class appointment is in BHP Bali Mala and UITP. There is a provision of separate allowance for remote areas. Under the rules of OHPC, there is a provision for obtaining HRA and other allowances

training

There will be 1 year training, which is taught for further purposes. After successfully getting the training, the trainee will be given a cadre. The cadre will be decided according to his training performance and accordingly the salary will be fixed for the category. Odisha Hydro Power Corporation is not obliged to give regular appointments to any student after training

Academic qualification

Candidates must have at least graduated from any institute recognized by the Government of India or have an equivalent degree. Besides this, the student must have 1 year Diploma in Computer Application DCA or any equivalent computer diploma.
For lower division assistant training, it is mandatory to have a diploma from office management. Also, it is mandatory to have 1 year DCA i.e. Diploma in Computer Application or its equivalent second diploma

Age limit

The candidate should not be below 18 years of age and he should not be above 38 years of age. The age limit will be determined as on 1 October 2022.
Candidates of Odisha who are SC, ST, Most Backward Classes, Women and X Servicemen will get relaxation in the additional age limit of 5 years.
Candidates who are physically disabled can get relaxation in the age limit of up to 10 years
Candidates who fall in both the above categories will get the benefit of the same system to provide maximum benefit, in which they get the maximum benefit.

Reservation will be received only by the person who is a resident of Odisha. The certificate of reservation for SC, ST and SEBC will be valid only for the candidates of Odisha.

Other qualification standards

Any candidate participating in the competition must be a citizen of India
Candidates must read and understand the Orissa language properly
It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the Orissa language as a language medium in class 10. Students who did not select Odisha language in class 10 are not eligible for selection

Syllabus and selection process

The exam will be of 120 marks, which will be a computer-based test. The exam is divided into four sections. In the first part there will be questions of reasoning, in the second part there will be questions of quantity aptitude, in the third part there will be questions of English language, and the fourth part will be questions of general awareness and computer knowledge.
There will be a total time of 2 hours for the examination and there is a provision of negative marking. If one question is wrong, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Students will be selected on the basis of merit. Priority will be given to the students who have scored good marks.

Examination Center Determination

The examination centers will be in major districts of Odisha such as Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bahrampur and Balasore. The examination center will be determined on the basis of the total number of candidates. This will be a computer-based test, so the examination centers will be fixed and determined.
Students will have the facility to choose the examination center at the time of application. But it is not entirely certain that the students will receive the examination center selected by the students

Application fees and payment mode

There will be an application fee of 500 rupees, which is kept for unreserved classes and most backward classes. Examination fees are non-refundable per case. Students of scheduled tribe and schedule cast who reside in Orissa will not have to pay any examination fees. Besides this, physically disabled persons will not have to pay examination fees. The mode of payment will be online and payment can be made easily through Debit Card Credit Card and UPI
